Antarctica Virtual Reality

Funded by the UK Antarctica Heritage Trust

Working with the UK Antarctica Heritage Trust (UKAHT) I undertook research to look at their initial development of a Virtual Reality (VR) experience of Antarctica. The aim of the research was to:
    • Understand what proposed audiences (cruise ship, secondary school children and teachers, British Antarctica Survey (BAS) workers, those generally interested in Antarctica and those with experience of VR thought about the current ideas for the VR story
    • Understand the proposed audiences familiarity with virtual reality
    • Understand where the audience might connect to the VR experiences
    • To gain some insight into expected cost point for access to the VR story
